I've signed up for the incredible Kim Klassen's class called Beyond Layers II. It's amazing--full of great tips to edit your photos, wonderful inspiration, idea starters, poetry, you name it! I love that I'm learning about stuff in Photoshop I would have never figured out on my own! Thanks, Kim. For more info, visit her site or click the "Beyond Layers" button on the right side bar.

Here are a couple of photos I did for her other class, the Art of Texture:
The above image is from Kim.

Angel statue in a cemetery in West Springfield.
This was so sad because it was way after Christmas, but the decorations were still on the statue. This plot is for 2 little girls. Their photos are on the pillar under the statue.

So, I'm going to try to update this blog more often! I also have a Facebook page, Flickr account, and Pinterest...quite busy lately! Please visit those sites as well. Those links are on the right side bar.

As always, comments welcome!

Hi there,

Thank you for visiting my blog and making the sweet comment about Molly. I enjoy your photos and the story behind the angel statue is very poignant. Thank you for sharing.

Keep up the great photography. I've studied photography for years but there are often time lapses when I hardly photograph anything. What I've learned is that if I don't use it, I lose it. My eye is still good, however, my standards are much higher than the results I've gotten lately. So my decision is to take more photos of that which I love: FLOWERS. I bought some peonies at Trader Joe's in Scottsdale, AZ, on Saturday. I cut a few more at my doctor's office today and will take photos tomorrow afternoon.

And then I'll process them in PhotoShop via Kim Klassen's layer techniques and textures.

Let's hope for the best.

Blessings, Marrianna in Flagstaff, AZ
