here's a page i did for a challenge on the DSP site using the freebie kits. the pix are of Jackie & Luke's wedding last August. my pictures came out pretty dark/blurry/grainy, but i tried to lighten them the best that i could! i used a bunch of other people's stuff too, but i don't have that list in front of me right now, so i can't tell you where the stuff came from...

i got a Wacom Bamboo pen tablet for my bday from the parents! it's so weird and different to use, but i'm very excited to try to cut things out with it...here's a picture! it has a pen and a mouse with the mousepad. it's awesome!

Hi Meg! I'll be anxious to hear how you like that pen/tablet thing... Mark keeps telling me that I'd love to have one. Mark and I are going to be experimenting with screening shirts with our original designs. He was thinking that we could use the tablet to draw, then use the electronic file we create to screenprint the shirts. What do you think? :)

kate, it's a little hard to get used to (very sensitive and moves around quicker/better than a mouse), but yes i think you could draw with it after a little practice. i mostly wanted it to be able to "cut out" around people and objects in pictures so they wouldn't have backgrounds. it works a little differently than a mouse, but could work well for you to make your own designs.
